In addition to our youth education programs, we also offer the following initiatives:

GAOG Family Fun Day Event:  Our flagship cultural event, the Memorial Weekend Family Fun Day, attracts approximately 7,000 visitors from all over the world who attend the annual Atlanta Caribbean Carnival. By becoming a sponsor, you will gain valuable exposure at this event and contribute to our Scholarship Awards Program and the organization’s operational expenses.

Community Health Fair: Our annual Community Health Fair is effectively designed to create non-communicable disease (NCD) awareness and teach behavior modification to a projected 100 interested residents from nearby communities. By becoming a sponsor, you will help increase access to those residents with the most need for assistance in making the required lifestyle changes.

Youth Symposium: Our annual Youth Symposium exposes middle and high school children to community leaders and distinguished professionals who mentor them on career choices, consequences of personal decisions, and the responsibility of citizenship and engages them in cultural activities.

Children’s Christmas Party: We partner with Toys for Tots to provide toys for over 250 children in our community at Christmas time. This toy distribution occurs at our Secretariat building in a festive party environment that brings happiness to several children from low-income families.

Our organization currently boasts a total membership of more than 200 volunteers. It is open to anyone in the Metro Atlanta area who shares our passion for community service and youth 4  education. Our leadership comprises twelve elected officials – six executive board members, five trustees, and one parliamentarian.

Your sponsorship will enable us to build capacity and diversify our funding sources. You may specify whether you wish to contribute to any specific education program. We also host several special events throughout the year to supplement funding.
